Investigation closed on fire

Erath County Fire Marshal Tommy Shelton concluded his investigation last week into the fire at Dublin’s Dollar General and determine that there was no “incendiary cause.” This indicates that the fire was accidental.

June 18 At 4:21 p.m. a pickup pulling a horse trailer flipped over on Hwy 377 South requiring two wreckers. At 9:15 p.m. a tractor and baler were fully involved when fire trucks arrived on CR 355. June 19 At 12:35 p.m. a bulldozer caught on fire on CR 507. June 20 At 10:42 a.m.

June 22 Reporting person called when someone rang his doorbell and when he opened the door no one was there. The call came from the 600 block of Hawk. June 23 A report was made for a semi truck hauling pipe that was passing in a no passing zone and running people off the road on Hwy 6.
