Lead in Dylan Cisneros

Service set for Weems

The Dublin community is invited to celebrate the life of one of its strongest volunteers and advocates as a memorial service is set for Mike Weems on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Patrick Street Church of Christ. Weems died peacefully at the age of 72 on Sept.

DISD approves buses, contracts

The Dublin ISD School Board approved the purchase of two buses and renewed its agreement with 4-H during a regular meeting that lasted less than 20 minutes Monday night.

Erath County COVID Report- Sept. 17, 2021

Erath County officials reported 381 active cases of COVID-19 in the county report from Thursday night (Sept. 16). Deaths related to COVID were reported at 85 since the beginning of the pandemic, and there were 21 COVID-related hospitalizations.

CCHF fundraiser Saturday

Tickets are going fast for the annual Comanche County Healthcare Foundation fundraiser dinner on Sept. 18 that features a prime rib and shrimp dinner and lots of fun with a silent and live auction of unique items. The dinner will be catered by Littlejohn’s at Evans Sale Barn in Proctor.
