Car crashes into Clinton home

Dublin Police, volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel were dispatched to a house on North Clinton at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Sunday after a vehicle reportedly crashed into the front of it.

Citizen/ Chamber hosting costume contest

The Dublin Citizen and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a costume contest with winners competing for bragging rights and Dublin Dollars. Four prizes will be awarded: Best Children’s Costume, Best Adult’s Costume, Best Group or Pair Costume, and Best Pet’s Costume.

Dublin's Safe Trick or Treat will be downtown tonight from 4: 30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Businesses who aren't located downtown can also participate by  handing out goodies down the decorated "Haunted Hogan's Alley" (next to Blackjack's Coffee).

Library hosting events Saturday

The Dublin Public Library is hosting two events on Saturday, Oct. 30. At 10:30 a.m., a free iris workshop will be led by Peggy Tolboom. A free iris will be provided to take home. All guest are asked to bring gloves for the event. From noon to 2 p.m.
