DHS grads embrace future

Seventy-nine students walked across the stage Friday, May 24 with one special presentation posthumously to the family of Eddie Hernandez who would have walked with the class of 2024 at Dublin High School’s commencement ceremony at Bob and Norma Cervetto Field.

Intermediate Library receives donation

Dublin Intermediate Library was presented with a $500 check by the Erath County Association of Retired School Employees (ECARSE) on Friday, May 17. Librarian Riley Jo Dunlap accepted the check from incoming president Vicki Cook (right) and treasurer Brenda Burks (left).

Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser set Thursday Erath County Heroes with Handbags Designer Purse Bingo will be held Thursday, May 23 from 5-9 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center at Tarleton State University.

There was a report of someone walking on a bus in the 200 block of North Patrick. Officer was out with the subject and the tour bus. They just got back from a show, everything was OK.

Friends visit at Dublin Market Days Saturday, May 18 at Wright Park. After battling weather throughout the year, the market patrons and sellers were able to enjoy some beautiful weather.

Seniors donned their caps and gowns Thursday, May 9 as they participated in Senior Walk through all of the Dublin ISD campuses. The graduates-to-be exchanged high fives with elementary school students as they walked the halls that started their 13-year education process.

Summer kicks off with high meat prices

A report by Texas A&M Department of Agricultural Economics experts indicated a mixed bag of slight price increases and decreases for beef, pork and poultry throughout grilling season.
