Chamber of Commerce members, STAR Council, local businesses, resident and library fans joined Dublin Public Library Director Adina Dunn as she cut the ribbon at the library Saturday, May 18 in recognition of the beginning of Summer Reading activities and the renovations completed in December. The renovation’s funding was made possible by the Tocker Foundation, the Erath County Genealogical Society, City of Dublin and STAR Council. Dublin Mayor David Leatherwood also presented Dunn with a city proclamation declaring May 18 as Community Reading Day. The library is hosting activities through the summer and reading logs can now be picked up and turned in for a chance at great prizes.
