Dublin Intermediate Library was presented with a $500 check by the Erath County Association of Retired School Employees (ECARSE) on Friday, May 17. Librarian Riley Jo Dunlap accepted the check from incoming president Vicki Cook (right) and treasurer Brenda Burks (left). ECARSE presents donations to two elementary level schools in the county every year on a rotation. (A check was also presented to Three Way ISD this year.) Dunlap reported the donation will help in the purchase of needed books like new titles, Spanish language selections and Bluebonnet award winners. Anyone interested in supporting teachers is welcome to join ECARSE, which meets the first Tuesday of each month during the school year. (Total dues are $50 per year.)
