A local pastry prodigy will hit primetime Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. central as 11-year-old Stephenville resident Micah Parsons is competing in the new season of Kids Baking Championship on Food Network.

Livestock Show starts Sunday

The Erath County Jr. Livestock Show starts this Sunday, Jan. 5 and gives kids of all ages the opportunity to show off their animals and projects.The week-long schedule follows: Schedule of Events Sunday, Jan. 5 8 a.m. Dairy arrival begins Horse Show- TSU Arena 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

Joint investigation leads to Comanche County arrests

In a coordinated effort between the Comanche County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division (CID), a multi-month investigation culminated in executing a search and arrest warrant on December 20, 2024.
