Numerous businesses and local farmers, ranchers and dairymen bid on the projects during the auction. For the first time, ag mechanic projects were also part of the auction.

Dublin City Council: Council names interim city secretary

The Dublin City Council unanimously voted to appoint Kim Seider as the interim City Secretary following a closed session in a busy regular meeting Monday, Jan. 13.The closed session followed the acceptance of Melissa Minor who has been serving as City Secretary since November 2020.

Local filings now open

Filing for local elections for school board and city council are now officially open for the May 3 election and both Dublin boards will have opportunities for citizens to serve. Filing is open for local elections through Friday, Feb. 14.

RD workday set for Saturday

Revitalize Dublin will be kicking off 2025 with its first workday project this weekend.A clean up project is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 for 338 S. Camden Street. A mobile home was removed from the land and the owner needs assistance to clean up the trash left on the property.
