Humane Society Run May 3

The second annual Cinco De Mayo 5k and Fun Run has been set Saturday, May 3 for the Bosque River Tail benefiting the Erath County Humane Society.

The event will start at 9 a.m. at the trailhead at Timber Ridge Church (510 E. Lingleville) with humans disembarking on the 5K.

The mile fun run will be at 10 a.m. with humans and leashed dogs welcome. (Walk a shelter dog or bring you own!)

The cost is $25 for participants with walk-ups are welcome. Medals will be provided to all finishers in the 5k. Costumes are encouraged and a dog costume contest will be held.

There will also be door prizes and giveaways as well as vendor market.
