The following first responder calls were made March 23 -March 30. Local first responders handled 63 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD

March 24 - PD aided with an agency assist when calling EMS for an adult female. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Eagle Street when a truck with spotlight on and is in the back alley shining over fence.

March 25 – A reckless driver was reported with a single cab silver dually called in by SPD. Thinks they may have been intoxicated.

PD removed pallets from roadway as a traffic hazard on Hwy. 377/Hwy. 6.

March 25

A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Park.

A vehicle crash occurred in the 400 block of West Clinton when one vehicle hit a street sign. A caller reported they were racing on Park Street prior to accident. Israel Gallegos was arrested on DWI.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of North Park street when a vehicle with tinted windows was driving slowly around the block. Deputy assisted trying to locate the vehicle.

March 26

A car hit the light pole in the parking lot in the 700 block of North Patrick.

Units responded to a disturbance in the median in front of Chicken House Flea Market.

A dog was reported chained up without food or water for several hours. Reporting person advised it was a frequent occurrence.

A red SUV partially in the roadway without people around it with its hazards on, was reported on Blackjack and Highland.

March 27

Propane smell was reported in the 14000 block of South Hwy. 377.

Officer at JP court for security.

A person wanted to file a report with an officer regarding a crashed vehicle.

March 28

Loud music from a neighbor was reported in the 600 block of North Patrick.

A person in the 500 block of East Live Oak reported there was a lot of smoke after a camp fire.

A deputy on scene requested EMS on PR 1167.

Illegal dumping was reported on May Street when it looked like neighbors were dumping sewage.

A 4-wheeler was reported going at a high rate of speed on Grafton. Officer was unable to locate.

March 29

Two German Shepherds were running and chasing people in the area of Harrell Street.

An agency assist occurred for ECSO for a possibly intoxicated male with two occupants in the vehicle.

A verbal disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Pecan Street.

March 30

A search and SFST were conducted after an open container was located during a traffic stop.

Dublin EMS

March 27 – An elderly male with COPD was having problems breathing.

March 28 – A male fell and family needs assistance getting him up. A medical alert was activated for a person living on Highway 6.

March 29 – A split lip won’t stop bleeding. Patient on blood thinners. A man on oxygen has no power and needs assistance.

March 30 – Due to power outage, patient had to move to manual wheelchair and now needs a lift assist. An elderly male collapsed during a church service. An elderly female on hospice was evaluated for vomiting.

Dublin Fire

March 24 – FD responded to hay bales and grass on fire on FM 2156.

March 25 – A fire was reported on CR 2056. Subject was burning in a metal barrel.

March 29 – Three units reported to a fire on CR 516, but were canceled.
