Shooting under investigation

The Texas Rangers and Erath County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday, Feb. 5 in Lingleville.Between 7 and 9 p.m.

Filing ends Friday

This week marks the final filing time for local city council and school board races in Dublin and Stephenville.As of press time on Tuesday, no one has filed for Dublin City Council or Mayor although several packets have been picked up.

CTFAC fans raise $75K with ease(l)

Tucked into a corner at the annual Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council’s fundraising banquet, artist Blu Dornan paused to speak with patrons while completing a masterpiece in ink on paper.

Dublin ISD gets clean audit, sells ag barn

Dublin ISD received a clean audit at its Thursday, Jan. 29 school board meeting.The meeting was rescheduled from Monday due to inclement weather and the district being closed for several days.Gerald Rodgers, a CPA with James E. Rodgers and Company, P.C. presented the audit to the board.

Valentine crafting event set Feb. 5 in DublinA Valentine Card Making event will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 at Three Oaks Assisted Living for Senior Citizens, friends and family. Participants will be provided with all supplies and instruction on a choice of Valentine's Day cards to make.
