Sales Tax up for Dublin in September

Dublin sales tax collections were up in September at 17.91% compared to September 2024, according to the state sales tax report released by Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock.For the month of September, Dublin received $76,713.19 compared to $65,017.91 in September 2024.

Native American symposium set

Tarleton State University Fort Worth will host the “Still Among Us Symposium,” a communitycentered gathering to explore Native American perspectives through dialogue, scholarship and remembrance. The main event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov.

A heavy agenda was tackled by Erath County’s Commissioners Court Monday, Nov. 10 as the court dealt with land development and various projects.In land development, two items for Mountain Lakes were dealt with.On one item, a large lot was split into two smaller lots.

EC Cattle Company, Dublin, Texas, is a new member of the American Angus Association, reports Mark McCully, CEO of the national breed organization headquartered in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
