Lone Star Show/Pull returns

The second annual Lone Star Equipment Show and Tractor Pull is set for the DeLeon Community Park on April 8 and April 9. New this year is a high school level Ag Mechanics contest open to all and overseen by Ranger College. Judging on the ag mechanics show will be 3 p.m. on April 8.

Dublin Elementary is hosting registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten and any new students for 2022-2023 school year in the Elementary Library on April 13, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Texas appraisal districts issue guidance

Today the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts announced historic growth in Texas real estate values. According to the association, regions around the state have seen increases in values between 20-50% since last year.

MUSEUM MATTERS

The Dublin Standpipe was built to connect with the Dublin water system and was in place in 1896. It stood 12‘ x 60‘ and was 1 1/2 miles from the corner of Elm and Patrick Streets.
