Report of a dog chained up in the heat in the 200 block of East Clinton and requested it be checked on. Officer checked on the dog and it had food, water and shelter and was OK.
Reporting person in the 800 block of Courtney advised she had locked her keys in her car and needed help. Office was able to get the car unlocked.
June 14
Reporting person advised that a dog was left after a person passed away. Officer made contact with the next of kin. Report on Hurt Street
Report on Hurt Street that tree branches fell in the power lines. Oncore was contacted to come fix the issue.
Two large dogs were running around town and the reporting person does not see the owner around. Call forwarded to animal control.
June 15
Officers made contact with a citizen with a flat tire and helped them.
Reporting person advised that his neighbor is following him around town and they have had ongoing issues about the amount of dogs they have.
June 16
Stephenville ER advised they have a small patient that was bit by a puppy.
Reporting person advised there were people at the pool arguing over child custody.
Michael Pretsridge was arrested on view for assault by threat family violence after alledgedly holding a female hostage and threatening her and her family. He was again arrested June 17 for violating an emergency protective order.
Reporting person advised a dark blue Chrysler was going down the road in the 300 block of North Camden with known drug dealers including a relative. They do not want them at the residence. Dispatch could hear yelling in the background and upon arrival the subject left.
June 17
Report of loud music in the 100 block of West Sheridan. Officers advised them to turn it down.
June 18
Report of a reckless driver on U.S. 377. Officers located the vehicle and gave them a warning.
June 19
Reporting person advised that the family had been trying to get a hold a family member and he won’t respond to any call or texts. Officers located the person at a hotel in Dublin and spoke with him. Everything was OK, just needed to get away from the family.
Reporting person advised his van was caught up in a phone line on the street in the 300 block of West O’Neil. Officers met with the motorist and un-tangled the line wrapped around the vehicle and the roadway was cleared along with the downed line.
