One of the best traditions for Thanksgiving (besides the awesome sides) is people sharing what they’re grateful for. The world can be a divisive and negative place and the stress of life can sometimes cloud our vision to the good things, large or small, in our life.

I don’t often watch TikTok videos, but, when I do, they involve giant jars of mayonnaise. In a bold bid to crown “moist” the 2023 Merriam-Webster Word of the Year, the Kraft company made a grand gesture by delivering an 8-foot-tall jar of mayonnaise to the eponymous dictionary’s headquarters.

Patrons of the Dublin Public Library have until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 to check out books, media and devices before the building is closed for renovations. Plans are to keep the library closed from Nov. 18-Dec. 8.

Kirby Williams acquired his career skill set before he even graduated from high school. Since he was young, he’d help his father fix the family car. “We didn’t believe in taking it to a mechanic,” he said. In eighth grade he started working on a dairy, learning the ropes of farm work.
