Doctor places in race at 6 months pregnant

The June 8 Irish Stampede marked the 5th 5K that Dr. Haley Banks competed in the past year. Running is normal to the family practice doctor, but she’s making adjustments to her routine since she is six months pregnant.“I’ve adjusted how I approach running,” she said.

Boys stack wins as summer league begins

Dublin varsity hoopsters conquered Comanche and Early June 3 as summer basketball league play began at Dublin Secondary School.Dublin claimed the win over Comanche 60-47 and went 45-39 over Early.“Our guys really showed up to play and competed,” said DHS head basketball coach Wes Grisham.
