The Dublin Garden Club held our first fall meeting Sept. 10th, in the home of DJ Klutts. Mary Howard and Edilsia Jimenez were co-hostesses.Our guest speaker was Texas Master Naturalist, Peggy Tolboom. Peggy’s presentation was on our local bluebirds, which are the Eastern bluebird.

DHS Grad Chris Teten is now serving as backup quarterback in the 2025 McMurry Warhawks roster after he decided to return to the gridiron last year. Teten is known as “one of the most coachable young men to ever come through the program,” according to a spotlight on the Coaches Corner Facebook group. Teten also plays as relief pitcher for the university, where he carries a 3.1 GPA in Computer Science and is expected to graduate in 2027. | Submitted photo

A new program is looking to recognize Stephenville homes that are at least 100 years old.Local historian Marla Bush has partnered with Baskett Mortgage Services to recognize old, beautiful homes in the area.
