100 years Jan. 21, 1921 The accidental discharge of a fire arm killed the one year old child of a Dublin couple. The one year old was playing on the floor while the couple’s older child was playing with the gun, which was thought to be unloaded.

Erath County Judge Alfonso Campos and the Erath County Commissioner’s Court took time on Tuesday to recognize the service of Erath County Sheriff’s Office deputies Steven Flye, Skylar Chasteen and Cody Allen. The three officers assisted Judge Campos with an individual that became unruly.
