Stock Show to start Monday

The Erath County Jr. Livestock Show starts early New Year’s Day, kicking off 2024 for kiddos involved in FFA and 4H. With the show starting Monday, letters were recently sent out asking for contributions to the Dublin Junior Livestock Buying Pool.

Blessings with a Badge

Despite overcast skies and a misty rain, spirits soared at the fourth annual Erath County Shop with a Cop event in Stephenville. The event held Thursday, Dec. 21, paired 61 kids with law enforcement agencies throughout the county and the state.

Christmas star show returns to planetarium

The Tarleton State University Planetarium’s most popular holiday show, “The Mystery of the Christmas Star,” is now showing.It investigates possible dates for the birth of Christ and examines recorded sightings of significant astronomical events at the time. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1 and 7 p.m.

Police Log

A bicycle was parked in front of the Dublin ISD Administration building with no one around. Officer entered the description, just in case someone lost one. An officer was patrolling the area of West Liveoak when he saw two males run behind a vacant house.
