Eggstravaganza coming March 30

Though the community is awash in green for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter is right around the corner, which means Dublin’s Eggstravaganza committee is in full swing.Title sponsors of the event include Dublin Dairy Queen, Stephenville Area Elk’s Lodge and the Dublin Citizen.

Pat’s pageants kick off STUFFED schedule

Neighbors aid with panhandle fires

When the largest wildfire in the state’s history blazed through the Texas Panhandle, all hands were on deck, including firefighters from Stephenville FD.The fire started Monday, Feb. 26 and is known as the Smokehouse Creek fire, which has consumed nearly 1.2 million acres.

FCCLA moves onto state competition

All members pictured placed in the Top 5 at Regionals and is moving on to state competition. Students will compete at State April 12-14 in Dallas. Sponsor Regina Rasberry told students she was proud of all of their work and dedication.

New officer hired for Dublin PD

A new face has donned the Dublin Police Department uniform, though he is no stranger to Erath County.

Clash ends in cuffs

After a series of events on Camden Street, two people were arrested, according to information released by the Dublin Police Department.On the evening Feb. 3, officers of theDublinPoliceDepartment were dispatched to the 300 block of Camden Street in reference to a disturbance between neighbors.
