XC 8th boys take 4th

The Dublin High School and Jr. High Cross Country runners traveled to Lipan Wednesday, Sept. 13 where the 8th grade boys took 4th place as a team. This placement was thanks in part to runners Hudsen Joslin (11th place), Jitse BeBoer (16th) and Isaac Puerta (22nd).

Lions bite back at Bulldogs

The Dublin Lions fell 26-21 to the Brady Bulldogs in an away game Friday, Sept. 15 but stayed in the fight, gaining momentum in the second half.

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.89 feet below pool. Black bass to 5.75 pounds are fair on jigs, shaky heads, crankbaits and frogs in 2-15 feet of water. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around docks on minnows in 12-16 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.

Pride packs kick against Anson

The Dublin Lions faced a close fight Friday night as they took on the Anson Tigers for homecoming. “We did a lot of good things, but there were a couple of opportunities missed,” said DHS Athletic Director/head football coach Greg Hardcastle. “Overall, it was a solid game.

Lions XC nabs 5th at Hico

The Dublin Lions took 5th place (out of 15 teams) at the Hico invitational cross country meet on Wednesday, Sept. 6. The 8th grade boys also took third place as a team. Individual finishes can be found below.

Ladies go deep against DeLeon

The Dublin Lady Lions fought hard against DeLeon in a four-set away loss. The Lady lions racked up 21 and 17 in the first two sets as the Lady Bearcats scored their 25s. Dublin then fired back, claiming the third set 26-24 before falling 18-25 in the fourth.
