Lions, Bearcats scrap in opener

The Dublin Lions returned for the first official game of the season Friday, Aug. 30 as they took on the historic season opening rival DeLeon.

Alumni flock to VB court

Families were split apart in the name of fun Tuesday, Aug. 20 as the Lady Lions JV and varsity volleyball teams played alumni in some fast, frenetic games.The decision to face alumni came after the original game with Poolville was canceled.

Lions face DeLeon in season opener

Dublin Lions officially kick off season play Friday night, Aug. 30, as they host the DeLeon Bearcats at 7 p.m. on Cervetto Field.

Lady Cards vie against Zephyr, tourney foes

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals volleyball team was looking for a W this week following tough competition at Zephyr and the Poolville tournament.“We’re not going to shy away from our record and make any excuses,” said head volleyball coach Brandon Haught.
