Tarleton Fall 2021 Student Tally Beats Pre-pandemic Figures by 6.2%

While enrollment at many colleges nationwide remains depressed over COVID-19 uncertainties, Tarleton State University begins fall 2021 up 6.2 percent from its prepandemic count of 13,176. Based on 12th class day numbers, graduate enrollment is up 19.5 percent over 2019, and undergraduate 4.

A spirited crowd traveled to DeLeon Friday night for the first game of the Lions’ football season. The stands cheered as cheerleaders tossed spirit sticks and the band played and drill team performed in the bleachers and on the field at half time.

The Dublin Lady Lions volleyball games were cancelled last week due to COVID exposure and quarantines, but the team was due to play Chico on Friday at home. That game was cancelled after Chico contacted Dublin and said their players were under quarantine orders.
