Fly-in returns to Dublin 9F0

Dublin Municipal Airport invites aviation fans and newcomers alike to the second annual Light Sport Fly-in, featuring flights and food starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. For those unfamiliar with the designation, light sport craft are more economical vehicles weighing 1,320 pounds or less.

COVID Update

Erath County officials reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday night (Oct. 5). Nine of these new positive cases were from within the city limits of Stephenville, three were residents of Dublin and 10 were rural residents of the county.

Oct. 4-10 is Fire Prevention Week

October 4-10, 2020, is National Fire Prevention Week. Fire Prevention Week has been an annual event in the U.S. since 1925 and it was President Calvin Coolidge that made the first proclamation. The week is held in October to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
