District 30 election underway

Results were pending as of press time in the special election for District 30 of the Texas Senate to replace Pat Fallon, who resigned from the office to run for U.S. House of Representatives, District 4 after John Ratcliffe was named the Director of National Intelligence.

Free meals available to DISD

All students of Dublin ISD are now eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch in a move that was made effective Sept. 15.

Farm Bureau meeting changed for safety

Due to current health concerns, the Erath County Farm Bureau announced that they will not be hosting their usual annual meeting and dinner this year. The ECFB will conduct a short business only meeting for the election of directors and delegates on Tuesday, Sept.

First United Methodist Church News

The church’s Community Table and Food Pantry recently received a couple sizable donations into these community programs. One was from the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge for $3500. The second was from the West District UMC for $1000. A big Thank You to both groups for your generous donations!
