December 26 At 10:55 a.m. a large fire possibly caused by a downed electric line was put out by several area fire departments on CR 359 and CR 351. At 3:41 p.m. another large grass fire broke out on FM 2303. At 3:59 p.m. and another grass fire erupted on CR 125 which took 3 hours to put out.

December 28 A disturbance was reported between a female and male, the female subject left and the male was following her on Courtney. A report was made of loud music coming from their neighbors on Camden. December 30 A burglary alarm was going off on the 200 block of Patrick.

Dreaming of a White New Year’s

Dublin missed a white Christmas by a week as snow began falling on the night of Jan. 31, blanketing the town in white as the community celebrated the arrival of 2021. Flakes continued to fall well into the night with the town receiving a reported 4.5 inches of snow.
