Beginning fall 2021, Tarleton State University will guarantee scholarship levels to transfer students from two-year colleges. While Tarleton has historically offered scholarships, this marks the university’s first investment of several million dollars in transfer students.

Erath County officials reported one new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, March 8 that was released the next morning. The sole new positive case was within the city limits of Stephenville.. Total deaths since March were reported at 67 by the Department of State Health Services.

The Erath County Grand Jury returned 20 indictments on March 4.

DL expiration waiver goes out of effect on April 14

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has officially issued the 60-day notice that the COVID-related waiver on expiration dates for driver licenses (DLs) and identification cards (IDs) ends on April 14, 2021.
