It was the biggest event that Dublin had ever seen. Over 5000 people attended. There was a band concert, a baseball game and a beauty contest along with numerous speakers. It is amazing how the city of Dublin had gathered such support not just in town, but in so many surrounding communities.

100 years March 25, 1921 The Majestic Theatre posted their program for the week of March 25 through 31st. Friday played “The Butterfly Man” starring Lew Cody. Saturday was “A Western Adventure” with William Fairbanks. Monday was “Partners of Fate with Loiuse Lovely.

DeLeon Free Press The DeLeon Chamber of Commerce held their Awards Banquet with the theme being a “Happy Days” style 50’s Drive In with carhops. The awards were held at the Festival Grounds and began at 7 pm and presentation of award winners began at 8:20 p.m.

Erath County official reported three new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, March 22 that was released the next morning. four of the positive cases were within the city limits of Stephenville while the other three were rural residents of the county.
