MS Trail Ride returns May 1

May 1 marks the return of the annual Cowboy Capital Trail Ride at Tarleton’s Hunewell Ranch in Stephenville after the event was forced to cancel in 2020 due to the social distancing guidelines that were in effect last year.

Weekly COVID Update

Erath County officials reported four new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, April 26 that was released the next morning. Three of the positive cases were within the city limits of Stephenville while the other was a rural resident of the county.

Million Word Milestones

Dublin Intermediate announced more students who reached million word milestones by reading a million words or more in accelerated reader books. Isabella Reyes, a sixth grade student, reached 2,109,699 words with a 95% passing rate.
