Dublin FFA hosts CDE event

Whether it was milk quality or entomology, hundreds of students from the area gathered at the Dublin Secondary Campus Friday, Feb. 27 to participate in the second annual Dublin FFA Career and Development Event.

Free Soccer Camp set for March 21

Dublin families are invited to come get their kicks at a free youth soccer camp for kids pre-K through 8th grade on Saturday, March 21 at the Dublin Memorial Stadium on Camden from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Thursday Club studies High Plains Ecoregion

BROWNWOODSLOW. Water stained; 51 degrees; 3.11 feet below pool. Black bass to 8.19 pounds are excellent on soft plastic creature baits in Lone Star Disco scoping around docks and jigs in 10-12 feet, and jerkbaits in 3-8 feet of water on the rocks around main lake pockets and points.

Brand new state park now open in Palo Pinto

For the first time in more than 25 years, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has opened the gates to a state park in North Texas.
