Dublin sales tax collections were down slightly in August, at 0.81 percent, compared to August 2022, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar. For the month of August 2023, Dublin received $50,643.80, compared to $51,059.90 in August 2022.

A total of 14 individuals are now in custody following a joint operation with DEA, Stephenville Police and the Erath County Sheriff’s Office. The operation led to 20 indictments on conspiracy and drug trafficking charges outlined in a criminal indictment filed Oct.

A person entered into an agreement with a Solar company to install solar panelsonhishome.Company is still contacting him and he wants them to stop. Officer contacted company and they advised they have not contacted him in months, but the legal team was trying to contact him in regards to the contract. Officer did advise the reporting party that the issue was a civil matter and needed to be taken up with the attorneys.
