Baseball camp starts Tuesday

The Dublin Baseball coaches are putting on a baseball camp which is designed to provide instruction in baseball skills for ages 6-14 (or incoming freshman). The camp will emphasize hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running through drills and game situations.

Dublin Clean Up Saturday

The free Dublin city-wide Clean Up is this Saturday startuing at 8 a.m., offering residents the opportunity to get rid of garage sale leftovers and other unneeded items. The event has changed locations this year from the public works yard to the 100 block of N. Park Street.

Primaries decide JP race

Erath County voters chose state candidates for the November elections and picked the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2 during the May 24 Primary Run-Offs. Voters in the Republican Primary Run-offs picked David Martin for the JP position with 413 votes (64.43%) to Chris Evans’ 228 (35.57%).

The Dublin City Pool opened for the summer Saturday and was packed with many smiling kids and parents. The first 100 kids were presented with tokens for a free Dairy Queen ice cream cone. The pool is open Tuesday through Saturday noon to 5 p.m.
