Boy Scout Troop No. 30 Scouts enjoy time at camp where they learned first aid, knot tying, chess, archery and other learning activities. Camp was paid for through citizens donating to local fundraisers such as carwashes and bake sales. The Troop wishes to thank everyone for their donations.

POLICE LOG

June 13 Report of a dog chained up in the heat in the 200 block of East Clinton and requested it be checked on. Officer checked on the dog and it had food, water and shelter and was OK. Reporting person in the 800 block of Courtney advised she had locked her keys in her car and needed help.
