Dublin saw an increase in rain with about 15 inches more in 2023 than in 2022. Rainfall for Dublin, as collected and reported by the Dublin Citizen every week on page A4, was at 38.35, much higher than 2022, which was 22.5.

Visitors to the 2024 Erath County Jr. Livestock Show can pick up some premium concessions and benefit two Dublin ministries as Calvary Fellowship’s Feed My Sheep and Transformation Pathway CWJC are serving up smoked brisket, hot coffee, chili and more. A portrait of Victor Castillo, Calvary’s pastor who died Dec. 29, is on the wall in the concession area, watching over the volunteers.
