For next month’s book club, readers are invited to read “Beneath a Scarlet Sky” by Mark Sullivan. The book is about the way that war can affect people in various ways. Sullivan shows the tragedy of war, and how it can change the way that a person sees life. The club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23.
