Election Day set for Tuesday, Nov. 7; voting offered in Dublin

Election Day for the state Constitutional Amendments is next Tuesday and Dublin voters will have one last chance to make their voices heard in early voting this week. Early voting will be held 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2-Friday, Nov. 3.

Fundraiser on tap for Dancing for the Stars Team Lack and Team C2 (Kayla Conner and Darrell Curry) are hosting a joint fundraiser Thursday, Oct. 26 at Red Barrel Bar and Grill in the form of a costume contest. The kids contest is from 4-6 p.m. and the adult contest is 7:30 - 11 p.m.

Oct. 8 After a domestic disturbance with a firearm on CR 319, Curtis Williams was placed under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence by Erath County Sheriff’s Deputy. Dublin PD assisted until ECSO could make the scene. Oct.

Volunteers needed for Revitalize project

Revitalize Dublin is continuing to work on improving Dublin and needs support as they help a family with basic needs in the second project set for Nov. 4 at 8 a.m. This project centers on wrapping and installing siding and underpinning on a residence at 432 N. Park.

Local student selected to state FFA leaders

Stephenville FFA student Shayla Mader was one of ten students selected for the 2023 Ford Leadership Scholars. The Ford Leadership Scholars program is a result of the Texas FFA Foundation and Texas Ford Dealers partnership to enhance the leadership opportunities of Texas FFA members.

They spent the day attending leadership workshops and participating in team building, communication, and goal setting activities.
