Erath County officials reported 30 new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday night (Oct. 19). Seventeen of these new positive cases were from within the city limits of Stephenville, four were residents of Dublin and nine were rural residents of the county.

Electronics recycling event this weekend

A free electronic recycling event is open to Erath County residents with drop-off locations scheduled for Dublin and Stephenville. Dublin residents will be able to drop off old and outdated electronics locally in the Dublin Annex parking lot (219 S. Grafton) on Friday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

October 9 At 1:41 p.m. a black Angus cow on CR 309 was found to have been shot to death approximately two days prior. October 11 At 9:08 a.m. five dead pigs were found illegally dumped on CR 397. October 12 At 12:40 a.m. a brown car of unknown model drove through a fence on CR FM 914.
