Transformation Pathway, Dublin’s Christian Women/ Men Job Corps ministry, is inviting the community to join in the third annual Love Run 5K and Fun Run.on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Organizers encourage everyone to bring the whole family, promising a fun event for all ages and fitness levels.
Registration to the 5K is $30 for runners 18 and over and $25 for runners under 18. Admission to the fun run/walk is free.
Awards will be presented for the overall male and female winners and the top 3 male and female in the following age divisions: 5 & under, 6-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69,70-79, 80 and over.
Registration and check in will be held from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. next to Dublin Public Library where the start/finish line will be set up. The 5K runners will disembark at 9 a.m. with the Fun Run participants leaving at 9:15 a.m. afterwards.
Packets may be picked up early from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.at the Will Do Good Thrift Market (106. N. Patrick).
Proceeds will go toward helping the ministry’s vision of making a positive impact on our community by offering a new pathway to reduce spiritual and economic poverty through mentoring, relationships, job preparedness and life skills, while teaching God’s word.
