April 25 At 6:18 a.m. tires were seen being dumped into a creek at the bridge just past the spur on CR 351. At 8:15 p.m. a brown and white cow with a right ear tag was secured on CR 279. April 26 At 10:39 a.m. a darkcolored calf with a white ear tag was lost on CR 299. April 27 At 1:17 p.m.

National Honors Society held its induction ceremony Monday at Dublin Secondary. Fall inductees included: Cassandra Banda, Hollyn Carr, Maeleigh Geijsel, Cole Moore, Bryan Rios, Caitlin Silva, Alejandra Calderon, Daniel Escobar, Mackenzie Mathis, Jasmin Munoz, Ruben Sevilla and Jimena Vazquez.

Registration open for 4H camps

4-H Summer Camps are a long-standing tradition of fun and learning. The Texas 4-H Conference Center on Lake Brownwood was completed in 1975 and has welcomed campers since then. Registration is now open to the public for summer camps at the Conference Center. That’s right!

Moore joins DISD Board

A new face will be seen on the Dublin Independent School District Board, as newcomer James Moore was elected in the May 1 local election, along with incumbents Charlie Bradberry and Raymond Salinas.

DHS names top grads

Dublin ISD announced their top graduates as the school is preparing to graduate 66 seniors in commencement exercises on Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at Tarleton State University's Memorial Stadium. Cole Moore is the Valedictorian of the Dublin High School Class of 2021.

Parker leaves legacy

Dublin head Basketball and Cross Country Coach Will Parker announced that he would be heading to Brownwood next year to head those programs at the 4A school there. Parker said he is excited about the new role. “They have basketball year round so we’ll be practicing from August to May,” he said.
