New Texas Farm Animal Liability Act goes into effect Sept. 1

Anyone who owns livestock in Texas, including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, fowl and honey bees in a managed colony, need to be aware of key changes to the Texas Farm Animal Liability Act that will be effective Sept.

Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum News

COVID Update

Erath County officials reported that the county had 276 active cases of COVID-19 in its Monday night report. (This was up from 247 active cases reported by county officials on the Monday before.) The county report also showed that hospitalizations had dropped from 17 last week to 16.

August 14 At 1:43 a.m. a Ford Explorer knocked the wheel off a John Deere bailer before rolling over onto its side on FM 8 West. After the driver exited, the vehicle began smoking but no flames were seen. At 1:32 p.m. another vehicle rolled over on FM 219 North. At 6:21 p.m.
