The Dublin Public Library is hosting two events on Saturday, Oct. 30. At 10:30 a.m., a free iris workshop will be led by Peggy Tolboom. A free iris will be provided to take home. All guest are asked to bring gloves for the event. From noon to 2 p.m.

Crruise to honor Dominguez

Friends and neighbors of Angel Dominguez are invited to a cruise in Stephenville on Saturday. Dominguez died in a accident Saturday night on W. Washington St. in Stephenville. Those looking to ride in his honor can meet at the near the stage at Stephenville City Park starting at 9:30 a.m.

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately held national retail chain of craft and home decor stores, is set to open a new store in Stephenville, Texas. Construction is underway on this new 50,000 squarefoot building; located at US 377 and Washington Street.

Harbin VFD hosting BBQ fundraiser/raffle Harbin Volunteer Fire Department will host a BBQ fundraiser at the fire hall on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will all proceeds benefitting the VFD. Drive through and sit down meals will be available. The band will be there as well.
