Grasshoppers and Their Control
Make sure you are watching your pastures, lawns and gardens. I am getting a few phone calls on grasshopper damage. Grasshoppers are among the most widespread and damaging pests in Texas.
Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service compiled the following report for the CENTRAL District:
Soil moisture levels were very short, and crop conditions continued to deteriorate due to drought. Daily temperature highs were setting all-time records.

Jennings graduated from Dublin High School in 2006, and went to Tarleton to study criminal justice.

The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas met for lunch at New York Hill Restaurant in Mingus on May 10, followed by a tour of the W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas.
DHS Class of ‘62 celebrates 60 years
Hallelujah We’ve reached the 60th year of our graduation and to celebrate on June 11th we will have a brunch at The Little Church on Grafton St. We will start gathering at 9 am.
