Ronald Oddo, 74, was arrested Friday, June 24, on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a shooting occurred near Farm-to-Market 3025.
According to information released by the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, at 12:07 p.m. dispatch received a call that a shooting had occurred at 800 Block of Meadow Bend Circle.
Deputies were told the victim was en route to the hospital suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Police personnel were informed that Oddo would be waiting outside the residence. He was commanded to get on the ground and then placed into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Erath County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Erath County Jail after being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony.
