Radio in Dublin, may have started with Guy Neel, the son of the editor of the Dublin Telephone newspaper. He started experimenting with sending and receiving radio transmissions as early as 1909 and 1910 with his state of the art equipment.

Erath County officers have arrested Garrett Dale Reeves, 22, in connection with the April 9 shooting of Erath County and Hamilton County Auditor Kent Dale Reeves, 62 (the defendant’s father). According to an arrest affidavit prepared by Texas Ranger B.J.

The Dublin City Council officially annexed nearly 39 acres of land on the north side of town following a public hearing in which no comments were issued Monday night.
