Nick said to the crowd his background was in business and marketing in other areas but he decided to take a chance on Dublin, and he’s glad he did because of the support he’s received from his neighbors. Voting deadline looms for primary

Those who are wanting to register to vote for the March 3 Primary only have until Monday, Feb. 2 to make sure they are registered.The Republican Primary ballot for Erath County will include county races including Justices of the Peace and County Commissioners.

Filing continues for ISD, council races

Filing for local elections is continuing for school board and city council, and although no one has filed as of presstime for any of the Dublin races, several have filed for Stephenville City Council and a special election has also been called for city of Stephenville.

Sville dedicates Carter Lee playground

A Stephenville playground now has a new name after a special little boy, Carter Lee.At the Tuesday, Jan. 6 meeting, Stephenville City Council renamed the inclusive playground, known as Terrell Park, located within the City Park, to the Carter Lee Memorial Playground.
