Comanche County Museum to host Mothers Day Luncheon
Greetings moms, you and your family are cordially invited by the Comanche County Museum to celebrate Mother's Day with a deliciously, delectable luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 10.
Let your taste buds embark on an adventure! Ham, salmon patties, garden fresh vegetables, various salads and a variety of delicious desserts, along with tea and water.

Photo contest underway
The deadline for the 3rd annual Alabaster Beauty & Wellness Bull Bash Queen Photo Contest is April 23.
Photographer Brooke Mendenhall will be judging entries in: animals, nature/landscape, people, still life, night photography and macro. Submissions are $10 each and photographer must present an 8x10 print. Winners will receive ribbons, have their work featured on Brooke Mendenhall’s photography page & the Bull Bash Group, plus a full year of bragging rights.

First Baptist Church Revival set this weekend
First Baptist Church of Dublin will be hosting a revival Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 25 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m.
The church is located at 220 E. Live Oak Street in Dublin. Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said.
Double N to host Family Fun Day Saturday
Double N Cowboy Church will be hosting its Family Fun Day Spring Series Saturday, April 25.
Books will open at 9 a.m. with a variety of age groups including lead line, 10 and under, 11 to 17 and 18 and over.
The event will include barrels and poles along with many other events.

Garden Club Rescheduled Plant Sale Friday
The Dublin Garden Club will be hosting a plant sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 24 at the Patrick Street Church of Christ parking lot.
Funds raised will go 100% to support Dublin scholarships.
A large variety of plants including perennials, annuals, vegetables, flowers, natives, herbs, house plants and much more will be available.

Erath County Master Gardeners to host annual spring plant sale Saturday, April 25
The Erath County Master Gardeners will host its annual Spring Plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Texas AgriLife Research Center, located at 1229 N. Hwy. 281 in Stephenville).
The sale will include Texas natives, indoor and patio plants, shade and sun plants, herbs and succulents.
Fun gardening activities for kids and a silent auction will also be available.
Registration underway for Erath County Humane Society Cinco De Mayo 5K, Fun Run
Registration is now underway for the third annual Erath County Humane Society Cinco de Mayo 5K and Fun Run, Walk and Wag.
The event will be held on the Bosque River Trail with the Trailhead at Timber Ridge Church, located at 510 E. Lingleville Road, kicking off at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 2.
Race options include a 5K Run/Walk/Rolll starting at 9 a.m. This non-timed event is perfect for all fitness levels, so come enjoy at your own pace and have fun with the experience.
The 1-mile Fun Run kicks off at 10 a.m. and pups are welcome! Leashed dogs are welcome to join you for this shorter, dog-friendly route. Don't have a dog? Walk one of the shelter dogs to help them shine and possibly get adopted!
Other activities include the Sombrero Dash where the cutest pups (under 20 pounds) sprint to the finish in this hilarious and heartwarming mini race; raffle prizes and giveaways; challenge stations where you can complete fun and silly challenges to earn extra raffle tickets and a post-race fiesta with nachos, refreshments and celebration.
