Sept. 2There was report of guard rail damage on the overpass at Hwy. 377 and Hwy. 6. A reporting person on scene advised there was a truck and horse trailer there with nobody around. Dispatch received a crash detection around 4:45 that pinged in the same area.

Proctor no longer in drought

After more than 24 months of drought restrictions, the Brazos River Authority has rescinded all drought conditions for Lake Proctor.

BROWNWOODGOOD. Water stained; 79 degrees; 0.29 feet below pool. Black bass catches up to 7 pounds are fair on buzz baits and spinnerbaits in the new water in the grass and weeds, or on crankbaits off the rocks in 2-8 feet around the rock cuts.

Mini Drill Camp set Oct. 10

The Dublin Dandi-Lion Drill Team is inviting kids from kindergarten through 6th grade to become a Dandi-Lion for a day in the annual mini dance clinic.Practice will be Oct. 10 from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. and kids will perform with the drill team in the stands and on the field during the Oct.

Dublin XC runs in Lipan

Dublin Cross Country was returning home to host meets Sept. 18 and 25 following competition in Lipan Sept. 11.A total of 26 runners participated at the Lipan event with 17 improving their times from the last meet.

The rodeo way of life

The rodeo way of life was on full display Saturday night as several individuals were honored at the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Association Annual Honoree Dinner.The event was held at Rancho Viejo and serves as the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum’s largest fundraiser.

Input sought for park next week

Next week citizens will have the chance to provide input into what they think should happen at Dublin City Park including the old community building as improvements receive a boost from the Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design (CIRD).
