I‘ve had no CDL; my husband has so I picked up some of a trucker’s lingo. Some get ‘dedicated’ routes going to and from the same destination. Others drive ‘local’ such as UPS or FedEx. The majority of big-rig drivers go ‘cross country; they’re in it for the long haul.

Erath County is now under a burn ban again until the item can be discussed at the March 10 commissioners court meeting.The burn ban was put back into place Monday, March 3 due to low rainfall amounts and high winds anticipated over the next week.
