Applications open for NETPA scholarship

The North & East Texas Press Association, in conjunction with the Texas Press Association will award two $1500 scholarships to eligible candidates at its April 3-5 convention held in Fairfield.

The Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District voted Thursday, Jan. 16 at its monthly board meeting to appoint former director Ed Dittfurth to fulfill the rest of Erath director Jerry Hinshaw’s term.

If you’ve been around senior citizen area events at all, you may be aware of a group of women who are enthusiastic about life meet the Upbeat Crusaders!
Wich Kids, located at 112 S. Grafton, Suite C, was welcomed by the Dublin Chamber Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, Jan. 15. The business is operated by Rachel Williams Maddry and her daughter Kailyn Williams and features completely homemade sandwiches, soups and cookies.
