Dublin Celebrates America 250 Friday

Dublin is officially celebrating America’s 250th birthday and everyone is invited out for Friday’s kickoff event – a free communitywide block party!Don your red, white and blue, and head on over to the grounds of the Dublin Public Library located at 206 West Blackjack from 6-10:30 p.m.From 6-7 p.m.

A slew of patriotic events to celebrate America’s 250th birthday is on tap this week in Stephenville and the surrounding areas.Several firework shows are set for July 3.The Cloud’s firework show in Comanche County is set for about 9:20 p.m. Friday, July 3 at 11551 Hwy.

RD cycles up bespoke celebration

Revitalize Dublin's Freedom Fest kicked off Dublin’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday Saturday, June 27 at the City Park with a bike parade, pet contest, vendors and more. Revitalize Dublin reported a great turnout and time at the inaugural Freedom Fest.

Lion Cub Learning Academy to close

Silence filled the air at the Monday, June 22 Dublin ISD school board meeting as the district reluctantly decided to close Lion Cub Learning Academy.
