Lake Proctor enters stage 1 Drought Watch

The Brazos River Authority has announced that a Stage 1 – Drought Watch has been implemented for nine of the 11 reservoirs within the BRA water supply system.

Nine students are advancing to state after competing at Regionals in a variety of events for FCCLA. “I am so proud of how hard they have worked to achieve their goals to qualify for state. We have six that are returning students, and three that are new.

Former DISD IT Director indicted on 3 first degree felonies

Former Dublin ISD Technology Director Craig Parks was indicted Thursday, March 26 by the Erath County Grand Jury for three First Degree felonies, False Statement in order to obtain property or credit (more than $300,000), theft (more than $300,000) and Money Laundering (more than $300,000).

Harbin Volunteer Fire Department to host fish fry The Harbin Volunteer Fire Department will host its fish fry from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Harbin Fire Department. Meal is by donation and includes fried fish, hushpuppies, fries, coleslaw, dessert, drinks and a raffle.
