BRA rescinds drought watch

The Brazos River Authority (BRA) has announced that Stage 1 – Drought Watch has been rescinded for seven of the nine reservoirs placed under the status in March.

Irish Stampede draws runners

The Dublin Lions Club gathered more than 85 runners by the library Saturday, June 13 for the Irish Stampede across the10K, 5K and 2K races. Funds raised during the event go towards the valuable work the Lions club does in the community.

A special Quilt of Valor Foundation award was recently presented to 90-year-old veteran Wiley Ray LaBaume.The surprise quilt presentation occurred Saturday, May 30 at Granny Clark’s and was presented by Quilters Judy Angle and Peggy DeLaVergne.
